I recently bought two of her albums on my iPod touch on iTunes.
The two albums were Musique a la Carte and Fairy Dance: KOKIA Meets Ireland.
In Musique a la Carte, the third song was her arrangment of "Amazing Grace",
and her beautiful voice lured me into an illusion-like world under my eyelids...
(Sorry if it seems like an exaggeration,
but I'm quite the artistic type and make my sentences poetic.)
I recently discovered her when I watched a Japanese movie;
Origin: Spirits of the Past.
I'm so very sorry if those of you loved this movie,
but I think it was
Probably a ★★★☆☆ in my opinion.
The setting, concept, characters and art were beautiful.
But honestly, I didn't like the story.
It was too fast paced,
and never made me sit on the edge of my seat.
But there was one golden part of the movie that left me in awe;
the music and songs in the movie.
Chouwa Oto ~with reflection~, by KOKIA added a mysterius element.
It was fascinating, and so I looked the music up,
and lead me to listen to more soft and gentle voices of KOKIA.
She is truly on my top lists of DULCET VOiCES,
a new page I am planning to make.
I would also like you to give me more singers to add to my
"DULCET VOiCES" list.
I'm almost finished with the second chapter of MASK,
so please wait! And please read!
