My parents finally let me go to the New York City Anime Con!
It's gonna take some time to get there though...
Oh well! My Matryoshka cosplay is not of GUMI, but GUMIYA/GUMO.
I have the goggles, a pair of boy pants,
(Kinda embarassing when I bought it at H&M...)
of course, the hoodie, and some fake lip pierces.
They're no silver like the picture below,
but they are black.

Original picture posted on Zero-chan: [link]

Yeah... I just need to cut my GUMI wig when I recieve it.
I kinda gave up on the contact lenses cause it's so pricey!
(And I have, like regular contacts too,
so even if I bought ones with the right strength or even without,
it's so expensive!)

I'll try to post a picture of myself on the day of the convention.
ANYONE OUT THERE COMING?
I have a friend on deviantART,
and she's cosplaying as Gary from Ib, the game.
I need people to go with...

Also, if anyone knows my YouTube account,
SugarGreenApple, I might cover a song.
That song will either be an extremely short Matryoshka (with 8-bit),
or English dub of 1925, original vocals by Miku Hatsune.

Look forward to it!
I promise I won't blast your ears to bits.
I do have a little confidence when it comes to singing!

If you like it, I'm open to all requests.
I also do several Voice Auditions for anime parodies,
or abridges.

And as for VOCALOID choruses,
please tell me some that are recently open!
Thanks!

Sorry...?

When was the last time Iwow.

SUMMER VACATION!
I can finally blog properly. ^^;
Alright today's DULCET music is... *insert drumroll*
風のすむ街... That romanizes to "Kaze no Sumu Machi",
and translates to "The Town Where the Wind Resides".

YouTube videos for "The Town Where the Wind Resides":
-English & Romaji, feat. yanagi nagi ---> [link]
-No English or Romaji (has a pretty picture), feat. yanagi nagi ---> [link]

The composer of this peice is Wind Ark by the way. ^^
So beautiful... Listen to it first.
BTW, I LOVE YOU YANAGI NAGI/GAZELLE! <3

It's so soothing, and it takes you to this fantasy world,
almost like pulling yourself into a story book.
(Kinda like Inkheart, but less scarier and more peacefull.)
Pastel colors... Reminds me of soft colors.

It still has electical parts, like dubstep,
but it's still has a round sound,
almost like pink pearls.

Sunshine Girl (feat. moumoon)

I love this song!
She is one of the dulcet artists!
Her voice has a nice, how do you say,
light voice and lifts me up like I was a feather.
She has that soft spark in her songs,
and its whispery in a warm way.

NOT MINE!! Picture found here.
Now why is this focused on the song Sunshine Girl?
(Music can be heard here. NOT MINE.)
Well, when I first heard this,
it was sometime after "Leon"'s death.
(You can read this here.
It was a story I shared long ago.)
It made me feel better and helped me smile.

Music Video:
It's simple, but I love how moumoon interacts with the enviorment around her.
For example, around 1:16 in the video I showed you above,
she she nudges the light to come toward her.

As you can see, moumoon was first in the shadow,
and I believe that the shadow represents her negative feelings.
The "Sunshine Girl" might be the person she is within,
and that sunshine represents positive feelings.
When she nudges the light to come towards her,
I think the "Sunshine Girl" within her opens.

At 1:21, moumoon makes the sunshine go "on & off".
She is unsure to let the light in her spread,
and it's kind of like... being in the middle of the process.
The process of shining light to her true feelings.

At around 1:32, moumoon her fingers walk to the light.
I think her feelings are curious about the sunlight,
and walks over to that side.

In the end, she exposes herself to light (3:40 has a good example),
and smiles and turns into the "Sunshine Girl" within her.
Also, the fact that this music video is surrounded with either
white walls, green grass, or blue skies,
might be very simple, but it might be because it was her heart.
It was simple, but it still had shadows.
Without sunlight, there wouldn't be any shadows.
And not a single person cannot live withought shadows, right?
But she, who is "in" her heart, started in a shadow.

(Haha, do I sound like a crazy person who examines morals too much? ^^;
I really am not, just trying to point something out,
but in the end it sounds like I am a freak...)

moumoon's voice:
It's soft and light.
Yes, I am a straight (and I am not against gays or lesbians),
but her gestures were very cute and light.
Her clothing also expressed that soft shine.
(Though I thought that she should've been barefoot,
to express a more natural "Sunshine Girl")
LOL, this is the end.

Also, looking at the Wikipedia site (the site you can't always trust),
"Mou" in French, and "Moon" in English were combined for their stage name.
It meant "Soft Moon", and it fits them perfectly.

Comments are open people!!

dulcet (prologue)

Prologue

The night was a nostalgic memory of my past. Lights of lilac, baby blue, and peach blurred through the drops of rain that glided across my window. I played the silly game of which rain drop can reach the bottom first, expecting myself to fall asleep once again. It was a lovely feeling of peace and gloom, ringing in the empty night.
I tighten the blankets that bundled me up, as soft as a swan’s feather, coiling itself around my heart. The tapping of the rain and the beat of time united, dissolving into a rhythm. A bitter-sweet night that seemed to approach me as a miracle.
Stars once shined in the sky above, even without the monochrome clouds. The city lights were replaced instead. I whisper a soft song-- that nameless song that I continuously hum. There are no words for anyone to hear, a song of my own. Alone in my empty room, my eyes gaze upon the darkening streets, which follows with a silence. A street lamp was deciding whether or not to keep its dim light on or off. I lay my head on the wall and close my eyes.
The ocean of tears had a wavering tide and was nearly spilling out of my heart. Anxiety. Despise. Nostalgia. Hope. Desperation. Agony. All the feelings that started to swirl in the depth of my heart and manipulated me.
